1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using The Daily Quiz website at thedailyquiz.com (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. To participate in sweepstakes prize draws, you must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) and a legal resident of a jurisdiction where participation is not prohibited by law.
3. Accounts
When you create an account, you agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information. You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that we reasonably believe are being used fraudulently.
4. Quiz Content and Accuracy
We strive to ensure all quiz content is accurate and up to date. However, we do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any quiz content. Quiz results are for entertainment and educational purposes. If you believe a question or answer is incorrect, please contact us.
5. Sweepstakes Rules
Entry
Each completed quiz earns one (1) sweepstakes entry. Both daily quizzes and themed quizzes are eligible. You must have a verified account with a valid email address and must have opted in to email communications to be eligible for prizes.
Drawing
Prize drawings are conducted monthly. Winners are selected at random from all eligible entries accumulated during the drawing period. Each entry has an equal chance of being selected regardless of quiz score.
Prizes
Prize details, values, and quantities are announced at the beginning of each drawing period. Prizes are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash unless otherwise stated. We reserve the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value.
Winner Notification
Winners will be notified by email to the address associated with their account. Winners must respond within 14 days to claim their prize. Unclaimed prizes may be forfeited and re-drawn.
Fair Play
Any attempt to manipulate the sweepstakes through automated means, multiple accounts, or other fraudulent activity will result in disqualification and account termination.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
- Create multiple accounts to gain additional sweepstakes entries
- Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to interact with the Service
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract quiz answers
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
- Impersonate another person or entity
- Collect or harvest information about other users
7. Intellectual Property
All content on the Service, including quiz questions, text, graphics, logos, and software, is the property of The Daily Quiz or its content suppliers and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Daily Quiz shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of data, profits, or goodwill.
10. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
11. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
